Wolves interested in Liverpool defender

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has admitted he may look to make a move for Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia.

Hyypia could leave the Reds at the end of the season for free McCarthy would certainly be interested in talking to him.

“If Sami Hyypia was available and would consider coming to Wolves as a club who have just come up, then great,” he said.

“If Sami is on a Bosman and we could talk about it then of course I’d be interested.

“But he’s been linked with a quite a few clubs.”

   be sad to see u go sami but u give liverpool u best years give 120% everygame if u join wolves they stay up with u in the defence

   Don’t like to see Sami go but he doesn’t get much play time at LFC anymore!!!
   If he decides to leave(which I don’t want), I wish him all the best!!

   Stay and retire here. He can surely contribute to the Academy. Young boys need a hero to look up too and Sami IS a hero!
