United legend backs Liverpool for glory

Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham believes Liverpool can win the Premier League title this season.

The Reds finished in second position behind Man United last season however, Sheringham believes Liverpool could be lifting the title in 9 months’ time.

“I’m going for Liverpool,” Sheringham said. “They looked so good at the end of last season.

“They will be the team to beat. United fans won’t like me saying it, but it’ll be their year.

“I also think they’ll have the top scorer in Torres. Rafael Benitez will play him in all the Premier League games because the title is so important to the Reds, whereas other clubs may rotate more.”

   the last time liverpool won it, i was too young to witness it as i was only 3!! Com’on…..repeat wat u did last season and we’ll be there as i dont think manure will score as many points as last season.
