Reds to offer Mascherano new deal

Liverpool are set to offer midfielder Javier Mascherano a new contract which will see his wages increase to £75,000 a week.
Barcelona are interested in signing the Argentine captain and with interest from Spain strengthening, Rafael Benitez is set to offer the 25-year old a new contract.
Mascherano currently earns £25,000 a week at Anfield and is unhappy at the club as he earns considerably less than the rest of his teammates.
Liverpool are now set to offer Mascherano a mega-contract which will see his wages increase by 3 times to £75,000 a week.

It is hard to call him greedy when useless toss like Gareth Barry earn £110,000 a week. Even our fringe players earn more than 25k.

he signed the contract in the first place cauz it was his chance to leave wst ham utd and get first team football and chance to play in champions league

Rafa probably put him on a low wage to make up for the £17m transfer fee because he was completely untested, but now he’s earned a better salary.
What a big relief.Alonso and Masch are the backbone of the team. Without them no partnership btw Gerrard and Torres.
it dosen’t mater if we sell masch but hold onto alonso cause he was liverpool’s best player this year . we will get 35 million for masch then Rafa has 25 in his kitty so buy young 15million agureo 15million and silva 19million and then buy some young talent for 7million
as for Abdul’s comment on 12 July,Lucas shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same sentence as Mascherano because he’s one of the worst signings Rafa has made,it should be him we are selling,not Alonso.
