Reds announce new sponsorship deal
Liverpool and Standard Chartered Bank announced today they had agreed a four year deal for the bank to become the club’s main sponsor.
The agreement will start in July 2010 and end before the 2014-15 season. The bank’s name and logo will appear on the Liverpool shirt and will replace Carlsberg.
Christian Purslow, Managing Director of Liverpool Football Club said: “This partnership brings together two highly successful organisations with a really strong cultural and strategic fit.
“The sponsorship opportunity attracted a huge level of interest from a wide array of globally recognised brands and in Standard Chartered we believe we have the ideal partner to move forward and help develop our global ambitions for the club.
“It is a real sign of the progress we have made at Liverpool that we have been able to secure the largest ever commercial deal in our history.”

no that doesn’t mean that.. it’s not sure that we get the stadium because of that.. and no don’t get big money for january because the deal starts in july 2010!!

its a great deal as there gonna be a ban on alchohol advertisement but lfc wont see any of it the yanks will hold it back 2 pay off debts when we debt free they sell us and take all the money
