Liverpool set for £14m Barry

Martin O’Neill has reportedly offered Gareth Barry to Liverpool despite all his attempts in earlier weeks trying to fend off Liverpool in their attempts to sign his captain Gareth Barry.

The Villa manager has offered a 14m take it or leave it deal.

O’Neill initially demanded of £8million and Peter Crouch for Gareth Barry but after some time possibilities faded with O’Neill thinking it might be a little ‘too much’ for Liverpool.

It now seems the Villa manager wants money for Barry to get in another new face to the club.

With Alonso almost certainly going to Juventus, Barry arriving at Liverpool wont be a surprise.
