Liverpool duo Glen Johnson and Steven Gerrard have been included in the England squad to face Holland in an international friendly next week.
England manager Fabio Capello announced a 23-man squad to face Holland in Amsterdam which included Liverpool pair Johnson and Gerrard.
Holland announced their 22-man squad on Friday which included Liverpool wingers Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel.
Johnson, who joined Liverpool this summer, had already established his place in the first team for England following impressive displays for Portsmouth.
If Gerrard plays a part in Amsterdam, it would be his 75th appearance for England, having scored 14 goals so far.
Notable absentees for England were former Liverpool striker Michael Owen, who joined Manchester United last month and former Liverpool goalkeeper David James.

Green deserves tht england spot. he was arguably the most consistent goalkeeper last season. he is west ham’s unsung hero. and gerrard should also captain england. he definitely is captain marvel.
