Liverpool back for Quaresma

Reds gaffer Rafa Benitez has turned is attention to Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma at FC Porto after failing to sign Gareth Barry.

According to Portugal’s Daily Abola, Espanyol have set a high asking price for Albert Riera and therefore are the Merseyside team are now looking at Quaresma.

Inter Milan had been heavily liked with the 24-year old, but the San Siro manager, Jose Mourinho decided to sign Sulley Muntari from Portsmouth instead.

The question is, will Rafa Benitez be willing to pay upto £20million for Quaresma?

The American owners, especially George Gillett has refused that they have any money, even to sign Gareth Barry, and this may be a barrier in the possible Quaresma transfer.

uchechukwu.You must be an Igbo guy like me. know that osaze will not fit into LFC cos he is not fast ofcause he dribbles but havent got the pace and more over he is 27/28.we bloody need a young lad that is fast,dribbles and crosses the ball to keane and T9 to do what they know how to do best and the player that fit in are Downing,Queresma,vacente,navas and juaquin any of them will be fantastic.But i tell you rafa will not sign any (hope it turns irony) cos he like sign crap players.YWNA.
