Liverpool trio Albert Riera, Fernando Torres and Ryan Babel have been ruled out of the Reds’ key Champions League clash against Debrecen tomorrow.
Riera was on the bench against Manchester City on the weekend however, he will remain in Liverpool to continue treatment on his hamstring injury.
Torres, who has missed Liverpool’s last three games, will not be risked tomorrow and remains a doubt for the Merseyside derby.
Dutch winger Babel suffered an ankle injury against Man City and is unlikely to feature in the next three games for Liverpool.
Glen Johnson and Daniel Agger have recovered from their injuries and have travelled to Budapest along with the squad.
Players that travelled: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Aurelio, Insua, Dossena, Aquilani, Gerrard, Benayoun, Mascherano, Lucas, Spearing, Kuyt, Ngog, Cavalieri.
