Liverpool defender Glen Johnson is confident he will be fit in time to face Manchester United this weekend.
The Reds have major injury worries ahead of the clash with their greatest rivals including Steven Gerrard, Albert Riera and Fernando Torres.
Johnson, who missed yesterday’s 2-1 defeat to Lyon through injury, insists he is feeling much better today.
“It is a lot better today, I think I will be alright for Sunday,” Johnson said.
“We haven’t tested it today, just soft tissue work and massage, but it seems a lot freer than it did yesterday.
“I think Nando (Torres) might be alright for Sunday, but I am not too sure about Stevie” added Johnson.
