Hyypia in Champions League squad

Sami Hyypia has been included in Liverpool’s Champions League squad.

The Reds veteran was left out of the squad for the group stages of the competition however, he has now made a return.

Hyypia said: “It’s fantastic to be back in the Champions League squad.

“The official squad list was sent to UEFA last Sunday and as normal the manager was considering the list until the last minute.

“On Sunday he told me that I was in the squad. It’s fantastic and I believe Liverpool can do well in the Champions League.”

   Is Insua even supposed to be back before the first Real Madrid fixture? If not, that’s likely the reason for his exclusion.
