Highdale returns for training

July 7, 2008

Academy manager John Owens is delighted after hearing the news that Reds youngster Sean Highdale was released from hospital yesterday.

The 17-year-old prospering midfielder, is highly regarded at the club’s Academy. In April he survived an horiffic car crash that saw two of his friends killed near Speke Boulevard.

Highdale has now had an operation on his knee and has just returned to the Academy for a process of rehabilitation work.

“It’s great to see Sean back at the Academy and he is working with the physio,” said Owens.

“He is a popular player and we will do all we can to help him in his recovery.”

LFC Globe is glad the youngster is back at the Academy, and wishes him all the best for his career.
