“Gerrard is mad about cleanliness”

Alex Curran has told The Mirror that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is mad about neatness and cleanliness.
“We didn’t leave the pool on holiday because Steven doesn’t like to get his feet dirty in the sand, the pool is cleaner.” she said after her vacation in Miami in off-season.
“And if he reads a newspaper, he has to wash his hands straight away.” she added.
Probably the reason why he didn’t join Chelsea a few years back?
