Fans urge Hicks & Gillett to quit

Angry Liverpool fans are demanding Tom Hicks and George Gillett to quit for putting the club £359million into debt.
According to KPMG LLP, the club’s future will be in serious jeopardy if the current owners cannot refinance their debts by the July 24 deadline.
Hicks and Gillett’s parent company lost £42.6m last year, according to the latest figures.
Several fans have branded the American owners as ‘utter failures’, including fans group Spirit of Shankly chairman Paul Rice.
He said: “The revelations just underline Hicks and Gillett’s utter failure as owners and the club hasn’t progressed one iota as far as investment is concerned.
“Our club is going nowhere with Hicks and Gillett in charge and we need them out.”

i understand how everyone feels, i do wish we can be bought out and given substantial funding. on a positive not at least they made an operating profit of ten million, commercially that is a vast improvement at last they are tapping into the great package we have in our football club.

Hicks and Gillett must definitely leave Liverpool Football Club. There is no hope of finding a buyer with them in charge. What will and probably is putting people off is the amount owed. When due dilligence is carried out I dread to think what any potential buyer would find – those figures I believe do not tell the complete horrific story.
Liverpool Football Club is in a mess due to two totally incompetent Americans who do have a clue about finance or football. What we did is someone with good business acumen along with the funds to sort out the mess. Then perhaps we can look forward to the much needed new stadium and the players we need to add that final touch. Until then unfortunately its just a case of praying that the idiots do not make or create a further mess.
I totally agree that Hicks and Gillett have to leave LiverpoolFC now. They just concern about their profits, not our football club. That is so shit!!! Update and improve our team strength and get more professional players such as David Silva and Carlos Tevez and Pjanic or GET OUT.
