Benitez to bring Tevez to Anfield
Rafa Benitez is interested in bringing Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez to Anfield in the summer.
Benitez has made the Argentine his top priority and will look to bid £22million in the summer.
Benitez has alerted the player’s representatives of his determination to make a deal happen.
Tevez is ready to snub overtures from across Europe and a £135,000-a-week offer from Manchester City to become the first player to move from Old Trafford to Anfield in 45 years.
Tevez, last week, announced his intention to quit Man United in the summer.
Liverpool may let go of £18m-rated Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso to raise the necessary funds for Tevez.
Along with Tevez, Aston Villa’s Gareth Barry is also set to join Liverpool in the summer with a deal already believed to have been struck.

I really suffer from indigestion with rumours regarding the move of Tevez . I wanna know if he will be in Liverpool squad or not exactly.
i dont know any of our club officials visit this site or not, but if they do so, then plsssss read the voice of our fan. Are u mad rafa, u have to squash any rumor regarding alonso. I have wrote it plenty of times before and again i am writing the same thing, ” WHY ALONSO ALWAYS RELATED TO TRANSFER “. one thing i want to conclude u rafa that- according to alonso’s class he doesnt have to wait to much time to join any top club, but the fact is we have to wait yet a several years to find his class and that u will realize very badly if u sell alonso. So give him a pen and a paper and try to extend his contract until the end of his carrier & the very next day give us a breaking news that “ALONSO IS NOT FOR SALE” that would be the best signing instead of any transfer. i think rafa needs to understand that no lfc fan wants to see alonso go and if alonso go i think i will give up on us next season. RAFA this man is a legend at our club and one of our best player he would be the perfect signing than signing any other player so dont sell him especially not to buy barry. why do we need barry we dont need him if we have alonso and u should realize that. what is barry gonna bring that alonso doesnt have, he is one of the top 5 in the world in his position and i personally think we would be wasting money on barry. Use that funds instead to try to sign tevez or silva rafa and please if u want money sell players like el zhar, itandje, pennant, voronin but do not dare think of selling alonso rafa if thats ur plan i think u should leave although u are a great manager but we need alonso
