Benitez set for massive transfer boost
Rafa Benitez is in line for a massive boost next month as he could be getting a huge transfer kitty after George Gillett and Tom Hicks sold their respective American teams.
Gillett sold his ice hockey team Montreal Canadiens and has gained a £180million profit from the sale.
Hicks’ baseball side Texas Rangers was put under the hammer, which would mean he would be £150million richer.
If Gillett and Hicks intend to put all the money into Liverpool and hand Benitez cash in the transfer market, he would have £330million to spend on his targets.
Benitez, along-with the fans, are unsure whether the cash will be pumped into new players for the club however, Benitez knows he might have to receive less than half of the £330million figure.
Benitez earlier said he has to work with the owners to reduce the debt which could possibly mean he won’t be receiving anything near the rumoured amount.

I think Rafa should stay because he has already set up a structure at LFC and a new manager would turns things worst if this happens during the ongoing season cause it will take time for the players to play in a different way than they used too. However, I expect more from the club owners, cause our first team lack of depth to stay in competition in the league and the various cups that we are fighting for.
