Yossi Benayoun and Albert Riera are set to return to Liverpool’s side and be in contention to face Manchester City on Saturday.
The duo have spent the last week in Belgrade and been treated by Serbian physiotherapist Mariana Kovacevic.
Kovacevic is famous for using placenta cells to accelerate recovery time following injuries.
Benayoun and Riera were expected to be out for upto four weeks however, after receiving treatment, the wingers now have an outside chance of facing the Blues of City.
Benayoun said: “It’s an absolutely routine treatment, just like undergoing an ultrasound.
“I am feeling better already. My hope now is that I will be fit in one week, two at the most. I have a good feeling about it.”

This treatment is so amazing, Rafa should send both Stevie G and Torres to visit this physiotherapist when they get injured.
