Agent: “Liverpool want Riera”

Espanyol winger Albert Riera has been linked with the Reds for more than 2 months. Due to Liverpool’s failure with the Barry deal, they look to sign Riera.
Magico Diaz, Riera’s agent has claimed that he is wanted by the Merseyside club but they are not willing to pay the asking price of a reported £16m.
“Liverpool want Riera but are reluctant to meet Espanyol’s demands,” he said.
There are only close to 11 days left in the transfer window and Liverpool would have to act quick to buy a classy left-winger.
